Power Vinyasa Yoga
Our Vinyasa classes:
- Are a flow class inspired by Power Yoga Master Baron Baptiste
- Are non-heated allowing the body to safely and naturally enter into
each pose.
- Most of our Yoga classes will fit perfectly into your schedule as they are
60 minutes in length.
- Vinyasa is loosely translated as “movement without obstruction”
- All students of this endurance-building flow style will learn to breathe through postures while developing strength and balance
At the start of each class you begin to connect
your breath with movement through a series
sun salutations. We break down each salute and
then begin to flow from pose to pose. You begin
to develop stamina as each pose demands much
of your strength. You'll refocus your energy and
breath with a series of standing balance postures,
and then Move to the floor for some back body
poses designed to open the heart by extending
the spine into an arched position and finishing
up with some hip openers and Shavasana, a few minutes of deep
breathing meditation.
